callas software GmbH focuses at Ipex on their pdfToolbox Server version 4.5 – an automation solution that offers the complete range of PDF functionality, from preflighting and fixing to impositioning and repurposing. pdfToolbox Server is the ideal engine for print production, PDF/X standard compliant file exchange, presentation preparation, repurposing, or any other type of document analysis or processing.

Specifically for solutions with a web-based front end, callas software has developed an example implementation showing various possible cases of pdfToolbox Server 4 when integrated into a web-portal. Based on the pdfToolbox SDK, it features the use of dynamic preflight profiles, checking for instance the resolution against a value entered by the user, or rendering images to different image file-formats based on user input. We will demonstrate how this can add value and credibility to your online offering.
