DFlux

Dflux - modular and advanced automation made easy

Production, Automated

Ipex 2010 is the worldwide launch platform for this new automation solution, DFlux.

Based on Enfocus and callas technologies, DFlux provides a full production automation platform and an easy-to-use interface to automate any action, from file reception and routing, PDF checking and correction, to file delivery or output. DFlux interaction with applications such as Adobe® Creative Suite® supports automatic file standardisation of a vast series of incoming file formats. This greatly reduces the amount of errors and file make-ready time.

Powerful all-in-one production automation solution for print and publishing.

Regardless of the size of your organization, DFlux offers immediate automation of the many unavoidable manual tasks in your workflow. Its visual, drag-and-drop engine is easy to setup and mold to any existing workflow. Using built-in tools and straightforward connectivity with key print and publishing software applications, DFlux enhances the efficiency of your entire organization.

DFlux incorporates a complete PDF engine that handles anything from PDF preflight to impositioning. Based on the same technology used by Adobe Acrobat Pro, this industry-standard engine provides in-depth analysis and quality control of PDF files; allowing file inspection and routing based on its content, layering, metadata… So much more than simple preflight, DFlux fixes most of the problems it identifies, offers advanced functionality such as manipulation of layers and keeps track of all it has done to the job along the way.

Beyond automation, the additional standardization brought by DFlux saves your organization time and money. Sort files on file type or convert them to PostScript or PDF using Adobe Creative Suite or other, more high-volume output automation solutions. DFlux even allows automatically converting native Microsoft Word files to print-ready PDF files.

DFlux is more than a traditional output-oriented workflow system. A truly modular solution, it enables everything from integration with asset management and web-to-print systems, over remote and hard copy proofing to intelligent image optimization. Advanced scripting capabilities allow adjusting existing tools or creating completely new solutions and integrations.
You won’t need to change your way of working – DFlux just listens to you.
